Invoices, card and renewal
All of this happens in our billing portal, run by our payment processor, Stripe. Open it, enter the email address you pay with, and Stripe emails you a secure sign-in link.
Download invoices and receipts
Every invoice and receipt is in the billing portal, ready to download. Our prices are in US dollars, with no VAT or sales tax added at checkout; your bank may add a currency-conversion fee.
Company name, address and VAT number
In the billing portal you can change the name, billing address, email and phone that appear on future invoices. Adding a VAT or tax ID isn't possible there yet: send it to us and we'll add it.
Change your card
Update the card on your existing subscription in the billing portal. Please don't start a new checkout: that creates a second subscription instead of fixing the first, and never send card details by email.
A payment failed
Your bank declined it; it can tell you why, and some banks block international online payments by default. Several quick retries in a row can be blocked by fraud protection, so wait between attempts. Update the card in the billing portal and pay the open invoice there. Your plan and codes switch back on by themselves once it's paid.
Stop the renewal
Cancel the plan in the billing portal at any time. Your codes keep working until the end of the period you've paid for, and nothing more is charged. After that, dynamic codes show a "subscription expired" page until you choose a plan again; the same printed codes come straight back on. Static codes keep working regardless.
Refunds
Use Was I charged by qrcode.io?: confirm your email address, pick the payment and tell us why. If it's within our refund policy, we refund it automatically and email you. Otherwise a person reviews it within 24 hours.
Charged by "QR-CODE.IO" or "QR CODE.IO"? That's qr-code.io, a different company, and cancelling here won't stop it: check the charge.
